Best of luch with QImage, beats 3000 buck RIPS! regards takomaru Interesting, so the Mac version is not a complete one used QImage and enjoyed Mike Chaney's personal support for many years, I don't see why I would ever use Mac's, PC's do just fine. But that is all that many people use QImage for.
Mike Chaney, the person behind QImage, teamed up with Andrew Wilford to bring in the Mac expertise needed to move QImage over to the Mac, but at the moment, QImage One only provides a subset of the tools that QImage Ultimate provides. it's the "printing only" part of the windows only QImage Ultimate (from the link you give) presented as a new cross platform product called QImage One. Totally confused-is this the same Qimage that has this website address: Thanks! Used it until I switched to Mac some 11 years ago. I used this years ago and I’ve never found decent print software at an affordable price since I switched to Mac. ĭisclaimer: I have no association with qimage or its authors. The new release offers a free 14 day trial. The only other way to soft proof on the Mac was to use LR/PS or other high priced, stand alone solutions. For those users who are not familiar, qimage is a program which is a highly featured print engine which allows for soft proofing, templates, etc. As a long time user of qimage for pc, the one sore point was that it wasn’t available for Mac OS.
